George Karantonis

George is the Founder and Managing Director Albatross Audit Limited.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) of the UK Chartered Institute of Taxation. He is a qualified Certified Chartered Accountant.
He is a Fellow Member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of the UK. Locally, he is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC).
He has fifteen years’ experience in professional services. He gained valuable experience for eight years in one of the worlds’ leading and prestigious professional firms, KPMG. He had dealt with public listed entities, regulated funds, local and international clients where he cultivated his managerial skills and gained extensive knowledge and experience in the fields of audit, financial reporting, and international tax. George has a large clientele operating in several industries such a financial services, healthcare, agricultural, real estate, shipping, general trading and construction.
He has the Advance Diploma in International Tax (ADIT) of the UK Chartered Institute of Taxation which allows him to deal with international tax advises and structures.
He has been trusted and appointed as the independent controller of several projects funded by the Structural and Investments Funds of European Union. Having many years of experience as the Independent Controller, George is well known in assisting partners with their restrictions and reporting obligations.
George is the trustful financial advisor of his clients.
